Corner Gallery

Located inside the Dickson County Government Building, tucked in a little corner beside the Clerk's Office, and across from the Library lives the most wonderful gallery.

Guild Members that have been involved for more than 6 months are eligible to apply for having their work featured in the Corner Gallery.

The work in the Corner Gallery rotates out every 4 months and all pieces are juried in and approved by the Exhibitions Committee. Artists participating this space are required to volunteer to staff the space to protect the work, help complete sales, and connect community members with artists for possible commissions.

2026 Winter Art Show

Once again, the Dickson Artist Guild appreciates the continued support fo the Clement Railroad Hotel Museum. The mission of the Museum has been to provide historical, educational, cultural, and social experiences to the residents of Dickson County and surrounding areas. We as Guild Members appreciate being included in those endeavors.

This art show is a juried presentation and is open to all Guild members
Curators for this show are Susan Allsbrooks, Gail Looper, and Randy Toy.
Applications for this show may be completed online or on paper at the Corner Gallery.
The Application fee is $50

Submissions open: 10/20 - 10/30
Transmission of photos: 10/20 - 10/30
Jury by curators or their proxies: 11/2 - 11/7
Notification of acceptance or rejection: 11/9 - 11/14
Delivery of accepted work 11/17 - 11/21 (9:00 - 4:00)
Installation of exhibit 11/24 (1:30) - 11/25
Exhibition dates: 12/1/26 - 1/5/27
Reception: 12/4 (5:00-9:00) C.R.H.M.
De-installation / Pick up work: 1/6/27 (9:00 - 4:00) C.R.H.M.

Artists are invited to submit up to three (3) original works for consideration
Subject matter should be appropriate to the family friendly environment of The Clement Railroad Hotel Museum and will be a consideration during the jury process.
Work submitted must be new work. (Artwork that has never been exhibited in a Dickson County Artist Guild show previously)
Maximum width for selected artwork must be 30" (thirty inches) or less.
Two dimensional work should have wire attached and be ready to hang. (The attachment for wire should be down 1/4 the length from the top edge and the wire should be taut).
If your work is on a gallery wrapped canvas, then the painting should extend around the edges of the canvas.
All two dimensional work should have a backing cover.
All important information about an individual work (Artist, Title, Medium, Dimensions, Price) should be notated on the back of the work dust cover.
Our options for displaying three dimensional work are limited. We can accommodate work if it can be hung or placed on a pedestal (without a plexiglass cover or monitoring).
A non-refundable application fee of $20 should accompany the Application Form.
If the work is not for sale, the artist must assign a value for insurance purposes. (example: "Sunflowers", NFS, $200).
All work selected for the show should remain on display the entire time. Any purchase should be the responsibility of the artist and buyer and should be finalized after the show closes, when you have reclaimed your work.
