Winter Show 2026 Application

​Limitations and Restrictions

1. Artists are invited to submit up to three (3) original works for consideration.

2. Subject matter should be appropriate to the family friendly environment of The Clement Railroad Hotel Museum and will be a consideration during the jury process.

3. Work submitted must be new work. (Artwork that has never been exhibited in a Dickson County Artist Guild show previously.)

4. Maximum width for selected artwork must be 30” (thirty inches) or less.

5. Two dimensional work should have wire attached and be ready to hang. (The attachment for wire should be down 1/4 the length from the top edge and the wire should be taut.)

6. If your work is on a gallery wrapped canvas, then the painting should extend around the edges of the canvas.

8. backing cover.

9. All important information about an individual work (Artist, Title, Medium, Dimensions, Price) should be notated on the back of the dust cover.

10. Our options for displaying three dimensional work are limited. We can accommodate work if it can be hung or placed on a pedestal (without the provision of a plexiglass cover or monitoring).

11. A non-refundable Application Fee of $20 should accompany the Application Form.

12. If the work is not for sale, the artist must assign a value for insurance purposes. (example: “Sunflowers,” NFS, $200)

13. All work selected for the show shall remain on display the entire time. Any purchase will be the responsibility of the artist and buyer, and should be finalized after the show closes, when the artist has reclaimed her/his work.
