Artist Guild of Dickson County Awards Scholarships to Local Art Educators

We are so proud to announce that The Artist Guild of Dickson County has awarded four local schools $500 grants to support special art projects for students. We were fortunate enough to be able to give these scholarships to William James Middle School art teacher Wendi Work, Charlotte Elementary School art teacher Megan Hassell, Dickson Elementary School art teacher Tristan Adkins and Dickson County High School art teacher Curtis Southerland.

Through our fundraising efforts, events like Artsy First Thursday, and generous donations from local art patrons, we are able to build our scholarship fund to support art education in Dickson, Tennessee. Giving these scholarships to art teachers in Middle Tennessee is a joy and a privilege, and we are so excited to help them bring new experiences to their art students in the classroom.
