Creating art is a way of life, the sharing of a part of one’s soul in the form of a message to share with the world. The beauty in the creation & of the public’s interpretation is always enjoyed.
Painting abstracts, abstract expressionism, water & landscapes & forming unique sculptures, collages & photography are a few of the ways Carolyn loves to create! Nature, architecture & hidden faces often appear in her work.
Carolyn creates mixed media utilizing acrylics, scrap jewelry, foil & items found in nature on canvas or gesso board. Many of her abstracts reflect walking in the experience of her family members & close friends with the diagnosis of Dementia & Alzheimer’s.
